I have always appreciated and credited the incomparable Multi Champion Cherta von Smetanka, CD, FCh, TT (Swiss Import) bred by Barbara Liesegang, von Smetanka Borzoi, Switzerland, as the Empress and foundation of the Shefaro Dynasty. Now, thanks to Rafal Michalak, Hortus Borzoi, Poland, I have the opportunity to reintroduce the line that served me so well. Ch. Fetsyz von Smetanka can be found seven times in Tesoro and Tessa's pedigree.
