Great Pyrenees puppies
Winter x Goliath pups born May 25, 2008
All pups are in their new homes. If you missed out on one of these wonderful pups, please email or call for information on other available Livestock Guard Dog pups.
WORKING LIVESTOCK GUARD DOGS parents produce working livestock guard dog puppes. There is a screening process, so please email shefaro@peoplepc.com or call (210) 626-3156 for more information. I do not sell to city homes with small yards where people exercise their dogs by walking them. These are livestock guard dogs raised with sheep and goats, chickens and guineas, prior to going on to herds, flocks and families of their own. They are working livestock guard dogs, not apartment pets.
Great Pyrenees - History as a watchdog and herder dating back centuries, the Great Pyrenees is a particularly loving pet, especially with children, and is instinctually protective and loyal. A large dog (males can weigh between 90-125 pounds), the Pyrenees has a relatively small appetite, surprising not only for it's large size but for that the breed loves activity. The Pyr, as it is nicknamed, is obedient and loyal, as well as affectionate and gentle. This intelligent dog makes a very welcome family pet.
Sired by Goliath out of Winter, seven pups.
