Winter x Kujo
Winter's a Mom, Kujo's a Dad
My working purebred Great Pyrenees female, Winter, had four pups on May 19, 2006 - two boys, two girls, sired by working, purebred Anatolian Shepherd dog, Kujo. This is my favorite cross - Anatolian x Pyr. Please visit "Livestock Guard Dogs." My dogs guard and protect all forms of herds and flocks - Alpaca, Mini Horses, sheep, goats, birds, etc. - four legged and two legged families. My Livestock Guard Dogs have the intelligence and character to guard and protect their two and four legged families on ranches and farms, and also visit nursing homes to do therapy work. I used to think it was corny, but I finally put up a " Testimonials" page. I do care where my pups go, so there is a screening process. Shipping is available at buyer's expense from San Antonio, Texas. Please email shefaro@ev1.net for more information. The pups will be wormed, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention before leaving home at eight weeks. Wormings occur with pyrantel pamoate at 2-4-6-8 weeks. Vaccination Intervet Progard DPV is given at 5 weeks. Vaccination Intervet Progard 7 is given at 7 weeks. They will start leaving home at 8 weeks. This will be your shot and worming record.

The Miracle of Birth is something to behold. Winter is a very good mother. It is a pleasure to watch her with her babies and share with new owners.

The pups have really grown. They're enjoying my pasture.
Bonnie and Clyde leave home with Joe and Karla. They'll guard Alpaca at Windmill Crest Ranch in Texas.
The pups are content in Joe and Karla's arms. At this age, they are happy being held. When they're a little older and have bonded with their Alpaca, they will be happier with the herd. These are working dogs and when they have a job to do, their lives are fulfilled like my livestock guard dogs on the ground around them.
